DWHAOTONE Points: Join Date: Mar 16, 2016 Status: offline	I am applying a work permit and got a list of items I need to prepare. for instance one of them is a notarized education certificate. I know I can get it from the school and get authenticated from the state and from the consulate. but they also need a Chinese version and translation of it. Do I have to get the whole thing translated to Chinese in China after I got everything authenticated in US? Or can I translate it in the US and get all authenticated together? Do I need a professional translator or some kind of licensed translator to do it? Thanks

GUEST04154	You can get all those documents translated either in China or in the US. I personally think it's better to translate them after you enter China. You should go to a qualified translation company to have those documents translated. And the company need to stamp on these papers.
