guestFanny I am a Swedish resident with Swedish passport can i Travel from Taiwan to Shanghai for 5 Days and back again to To Taiwan and get a 144 hours Visa

GUEST04154 Fanny, you can't enjoy the 144-hour visa-free transit for this route. The rule is that you can't fly back to the country/region of your departure after you transit in Shanghai.

GUEST40882 Well, you cannot fly from Dubai and fly back to Houston via Dubai. Neither can you fly from Abu Dhabi and fly back to Houston via Dubai. Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai belong to the UAE. So actually your country of departure and arrvival after staying in Shanghai are the same.

GUEST84132 I'm holding UK British passport and issued separate two tickets, one is Hong Kong to Shanghai Pudong by Dragon Air and one ticket from Shanghai hongqiao to Macau by China Eastern, can I apply 144 hours transit visa? Please advise, thanks
