guest17230 Do a Canadian Citizen needs to acquire DULY AUTHORIZED INVITATION LETTER to obtain a China Visa? He was able to acquire china visa last year. PLEASE HELP>

GUEST04154 It depends on what visa type does he apply. If he applies for the tourist L, business M, or dependant types, the letter from duly authorized unit is not required. If he applies for the work Z visa, the duly authorized unit is needed. However, this is applicable to most cases, but not all. Sometimes, the consular officer may ask you to provide this letter even you just apply for the L or M visa.

Now some people may need an invetation from an agency and also it must be aaproved by the tourisim bureau of the government as well.
