72 hours transit Guangzhou

I want to visit the Canton fair next may. Is it possible to fly from Cebu to Guangzhou may 1st, take a train to Hong Kong may 3rd as my flight to Amsterdam is on may 4th. Is that possible without applying for a visa and use the 72 hours transit?

GUEST40882 If you want to enjoy the 72-hour free transit, you have to take a plane from Guangzhou to HK. If you go there by train, the 72-hour free transit is not applicable to you.
