Dear all, I was wondering if you guys know about work visa rules for Chinese born with Canadian citizenship? I am asking because according to the visa website the rules are a bit different compared to Canadian born citizen. I was wondering if you can clear me up on that. I am looking to intern at a multinational company this summer in China! Thanks all for your help it is very appreciated.

James, if you have never obtained Chinese passport, there is no difference when you apply for Chinese work Z visa. You need to provide those documents including your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, alien employment permit and an invitation ;letter from a duly authorized unit (your employer will get these two documents for you).
But if you have Chinese passport before and joined Canadian nationality later, when you apply for Chinese work Z visa, except the above-mentioned documents, you also need to provide your original Chinese passport and copy of its data page.
