Hi, we are a DK citizen and a German citizen, we are after a vacation in Singapore, traveling to Hangzhou and then going from Shanghai and then to Germany.
It is not one ticket but 2 different tickets.
Is that way of travel valid for a 144 hour visa fre transit?

Hope someone can give me an ansver that i can use. Visa help pages in Denmark can not :-(

Thanks

GUESTDAVID Hi there! The 144 hour policy is applicable to both Denmark and Germany passport holders. So as long as your total layover time in Hangzhou and Shanghai is less than 144 hours, even though you hold two different tickets, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit.

GUESTLINDA Can anyone tell me why I see information regarding this 144 hour policy for Shanghai on various websites, but nothing about it appears on the official Chinese Consular Services/Visa website? I wanted to verify the existence of this new policy before booking my flights to Shanghai, but only the original 72-hour free transit-visa information is available there. Would appreciate any assistance with verification.
