guest10931	Hello, I am an American traveling to Hong Kong next month, via a connection from Beijing. Although I do not need a Visa for the Beijing transfer, I would like to go to Guangzhou for a few days from Hong Kong. For Section 2.6, where I describe my intended plans for being China, do I include my first day as my 4 hour transfer in Beijing or just the dates I've booked for a hostel in Guangzhou, with flight connections not really counting? The same question would apply to Section 2.4 - is my first day in China during that connection or in Guangzhou? Thanks!

GUESTLANCHESTER	Dear, for section 2.6, you don’t need to include your transfer in Beijing because when you transit in Beijing, you won’t use the visa and you should tell the immigration officers that you will use the 24 hour direct transit that time. So your travel itinerary should be that in Guangzhou. For section 2.4, you should make your entry to Guangzhou as your first entry.
