SAFEA Contract - No Id Number?

guest28150	I understand there are two contracts : SAFEA contract addendum - the first contract from the employer SAFEA contract - from the government. With an id number I have been offered a contract from a school in China. The government contract is missing the first page, there is no ID number on the contract. Is this normal/common practice? Is the contract valid without an id number?

It's the common practice. On the contract from the government, the first page is like this:
一、 _______聘请_______籍_______（外文姓名）_______（译名）女士（先生）_______为 _______。

双方本着友好合作精神，自愿签订合同并保证认真履行合同中约定的各项义务。

Ⅰ.Party A _______wishes to engage the service of Party B _______ as_______ . The two parties, in a spirit of friendly cooperation, agree to sign this contract and pledge to fulfill conscientiously all the obligations stipulated in it.

You can see, no ID number is mentioned.
It's just the standard contract.
