S1 visa whilst still in China

guest11220 Can anyone tell me how to apply and where to apply for an S1 visa for my husband? We both live in China and I work here. He has been a student and has now finished his degree but my contract still has another year to run and I want to complete it. We know he's entitled to a visa but don't know where to apply.

GUEST40882 You can go to the local exit and entry administration under the police security bureau to convert his X visa to S1 visa. Your passport, work permit, invitation letter, residence permit and marriage certificate will be required for submission.
