Hello,
I'm currently in Hangzhou, China on a Z visa work permit. It's about to expire on June 24. I was told by my new school agency that I don't need a medical healthcheck before going to Hong Kong for renewal. What documents are needed to get a z visa approved?

You can extend your work visa in Hangzhou without going to Hong Kong, according to our experience in Beijing.
If you go to Hong Kong, you can re-apply for a Z visa from the first beginning, with Employment license and official Z visa notification letter.
To extend your residence permit for work is much easier than to go to HK to re-apply for a Z visa.
