Dear, the fastest transport method is by train. You can take a bullet train from Huangshan North Station to Nanchang West Station. Then transfer to another bullet train from Nanchang West Station to Yichang East Station. From Huangshan to Nanchang, it takes 2.5 hours. From Nanchang to Yichang, it takes about 5 hours. The most appropriate time schedule is to take the train G1675 from Huangshan North, you will arrive at 13:22. Then take the train D3256, and you will finally get to Yichang East at 20:09.

It's possible to do day tour of 3 Gorges around Yichang.

You can take a train from Yichang East Station to Chongqing North Station. There are many trains for your choice and it only takes about 4.5 hours to reach Chongqing.
