guestAndrea	Dear All, I am programming the transmongolian railways. I will arrive in dzamin-uud at 07.20 in the morning, then my plan is to arrive to datong as soon as possible. Do you know how it is possible to cross the border? I have read about bus from erlian to datong or to jining and then train. Is there someone who know the timetable? Thank you very much in advance. Andrea, if you have a Chinese visa at hand, it's not hard to cross the border. You just show your passport and visa at the immigration counter.

The bus from Erlian Haote to Datong departs at 08:40 from Erlian Haote International Bus Station. The ticket fare is CNY 136.

The bus from Erlian to Jining departs at 07:30, 08:15, 08:40, 10:30, 12:20, 13:40, and 15:00 from Erlian Haote International Bus Station. The ticket fare is CNY 85.
The train from Jining South Station to Datong leaves at 00:10, 10:23, 10:51, 11:45, 12:26, 14:10, 15:25, 18:54, 19:20, 20:10, and 21:10. It takes about two hours from Jining to Datong.
