Capital Mandarin School provides internships for English teachers in Beijing China. What does an English teacher internship look like at Capital Mandarin School? You will be teaching English at Capital Mandarin School (private) and BJZ Public School. During your stay at Captial Mandarin School you will reside at the Gaobeidian Campus of Capital Mandarin School (double room/TBD). While teaching English at BJZ Public School (maxium of forty hours a week) homestay with a Chinese family will be provided (single room, meals included). During the homestay with a Chinese family private teaching for the host family’s children is required (eight hours a week). Requirements: • Bachelors degree; • TEFL or TESOL certified teachers preferred (Other English as second language (ESL) teaching certifications are subject to case-by-case evaluation); • Twenty to fifty years of age. Payment modalities • If you choose to participate in intensive Chinese and cultural classes (twenty hours a week and two afternoon excursions in Beijing), course fees have to be paid one month before arrival. • The allowance consists out of 2000 CNY/working month. You will receive 50% of the allowance each working month and 50% of your total allowance on completion of the program.
