 | hi ya!! I was one out of 8 danish people working in tianjin february-june 2004 and well I am so fortunate to return this summer on holiday. I will be in Beijing from about august 20 till august 30 and ? course want to go to tianjin to have a look around and hopefully a little partying! Are there any cheap places to stay in tianjin now for a night or two without a curfew? Since my memory sucks:-) does anyone know approximetley how much a cab costs from the trainstation to the tv tour? Is alibabas still happening? (and which nights are best to visit?) Is it still down the small sidestreet near nankai? Is anyone still in town from back then? well I hope everyones enjoying life out there (I sure miss it sometimes) see ya soon Michelle |

| Alibaba's is still happening, but many of the neighbors were complaining about the noise, so it has to shut down at 12:30 PM every night now. From what the rumor mill has told me, the owner is looking at moving the place again. Hopefully they'll end up somewhere people can actually find on their own.
