how to go from Tianjin train station to Nankai university?

hello all,
I am going to Tianjin from Beijing by train. But I don't wanna take taxi to the university. Is it too far if I wanna walk from train station to Nankai university? or any bus? what bus number and how much?

I would like to meet new friends. I can speak a bit of chinese but I could speak very well French and spanish.

From Tianjin Railway Station you can take bus No. 8 or 638 to Nankai University.

It's too far to walk from train station to NK university, better take a bus, you may choose any one from NO.8, 832, 638, 640,or 845
