| Hello, I'm travelling from LA to Bangkok and holding an Indian passport. I called the China Eastern and made sure that my transit is not more than 24 hours. But looks like I arrive at one Shanghai airport and depart from another Shanghai airport. Also I called the Chinese embassy and the lady there said I need a transit visa but she wasn't confident in her answer. I need to go to their embassy in person and find out but can you guys help if you can spot anything from the below itinerary? My transits are these From : Los Angeles,US To : Shanghai Pudong From : Shanghai Hongqiao,Cn To : Kunming,CN From : Kunming,CN To : Bangkok,TH and the return is, From : Bangkok,TH To : Kunming,CN From : Kunming,CN To : Chengdu,CN From : Chengdu,CN To : Los Angeles,US |

GUEST40882 | If you total layover time is not more than 24 hours each time, you can use the 24-hour direct transit for both trips. The transit visa is not necessary. |
