| Hello, I am Paul, a Canadian citizen who married a Chinese wife from Shenyang, China. It is likely she will be unable to come to Canada. Therefore I would prefer to seek a teaching opportunity in city of Shenyang or surrounding area. I would seek to acquire a renewable work visa application in the future. I am wondering if it is possible to be employable in Shenyang city given a few of my credentials listed below ? ( I do not hold a completed university degree as of yet -but have 3 years of credits towards a Business Administration graduate program) I currently hold several other completed credentials: (1) University Certificate in Management and Supervisory Development (2) College Certificate in Pre-Technology (with electives as a Civil Engineering Technologist) (3) TEFL and IDELT -->(International Diploma in English Language Teaching) (4) Training Instructor Certification (Civil Transportation) (5) Various other University courses completed, including: Effective Speaking for Business and Professionals - Leadership Practices - Mental Training for Success - Technical Presentations - Successful People Management - Critical Thinking Skills - Effective Time Management - and several others. I speak 4 languages including Professional English, 2 South Asian languages, and some French. I am not fluent in Mandarin, however I can cite simple phrases only...given that my wife is Chinese. I understand this may be a difficult future move for me, giving up assets, a home, and leaving my family in Canada for long periods of time. However it is also a virtue and responsibility for a wife. I am currently in my mid 50's in age however I would consider my Education, Experience, and Articulate characteristics as being inherently valuable. If requested, I can forward a comprehensive Resume and Experience History to a potential employer or agency for future reference. I understand that opportunities may change in Shenyang city over the next year or so, however if anyone could provide me a general guideline of my chances for landing future employment, it would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached at gmail.com|anipmg Thank you for any assistance that can be provided. Paul G. |
