144 hr visa enquiry

 can anybody please help me, we are going on a cruise in March 2017 from Singapore which ends in Shanghai where we are having a 2 night hotel stay before flying back to the UK. Do we only need a 144 hr visa , and where will we get this visa.

GUEST40882 If you enter Shanghai from a country different from UK, you will be eligible for the 144-hour free transit in Shanghai. You just need to inform the cruise company before arriving in Shanghai and then apply for it upon arrival at the immigration check.
