About to apply for X1 Visa, worried about an error on my JW202 form. | |

![]() | I am about to begin the application process for the X1 Visa. I have received all of the required documents from my Chinese institution (jw202, admission letter, etc) but upon review noticed a minor error on my JW202 form. There is a section on the form entitled "Highest Academic Degree Obtained," beneath which the word "Bachelor" has been written. The problem is that I am not yet the recipient of a Bachelors degree, but a senior in college. This inaccuracy is my own fault; after examining my application to the university I realized that I had out of confusion selected "Bachelor" for the prompted "Education Level," taking it to mean at what level was I currently at, not what level I had most recently surpassed. So, as it stands, all of my documentation is current and correct save for this single error, and before I make my appointment for the Visa application I would like to know if this is likely to be an issue that needs correcting before I submit my X1 application. Thank you for your time! |
