Finding transportation to a remote town

DONS Points: Join Date: Jun 21, 2015 Status: offline	We are planning another trip to China. One of our friends will have a baby in June and we want to visit her. She is in a small village about 3 hours drive from Taiyuan. Her directions are vague but she says it takes 2 bus rides and a taxi to get there. We would need a ride to the village and back a few days later. Where would I find this service? How much should I expect to spend?

DONS Points: Join Date: Jun 21, 2015 Status: Offline	I forgot to add that it is not necessary for the driver to speak English. We will have 1 or 2 friends with us who are Chinese (4 passengers). A compact car may not work. We will have 2 suitcases and 4 backpacks with us.

GUESTDAVE	Do you mean the capital city of Shanxi Province by Taiyuan? I think you'd better give more details. The city is not a famous touristy city.

GUEST10030	It is in Shanxi province. A small mountain village. We will see a friend and her new baby. I don't expect to see other tourists.
