Chinese visa for Kazakhstan citizen

Dear all,

I am from Kazakhstan.

I am trying to apply for tourist visa from Japan and they are requesting invitation letter from authorized unit in China. Did anyone had the same issue and how did you managed to obtain that document from China.

GUEST40882 It's very normal to be required to submit an invitation letter from a duly authorized unit in China. As you mentioned, you want to apply for a tourist visa, so I think your only choice is to book a tour from a travel agency in China or one that has conenction with a travel agency in China, and ask the agency to get this letter from China Tourism Bureau.

GUEST25067 I'm having the same problems applying for a Chinese visa from the UK, I'm a Kazakhstan citizen with UK residency. How did you get your visa in the end?
