Choose betwen itineraries from PEK to HKG

guestBombino2401	Dear Community, I am preparing a trip to china next Month, and have to decide between two itineraries. The first one is a bit more packed with Jiuzhaigou in the middle. The second one is more chilled without the national park. Which one would you go for? OR eventually you'd have a thrid proposal? We arrive on the 14th in Beijing at 3pm, and depart from Hong Kong on the 28th at 7am. Itinerary A: - 14, 15, 16, 17 Beijing - 16 Great Wall - 17 to 18 Overnight bullet train Beijing to Xian - 18, 19 Xian, Terracotta - 19 afternoon flight from Xian to Jiuzhaigou - 19, 20, 21 National Park: Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong - 22 morning bus from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu (6 to 8hrs) - 22 night in Chengdu - 23 early morning flight from Chengdu to Guilin - 22, 23, 24, 25 Guilin/Yangshuo + Longji Rice Terrace - 25 afternoon train from Yangshuo to HK via Guangzhou - 25 to 28 HK Itinerary B: - 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 Beijing - 17 Great Wall - 18 to 19 Overnight bullet train Beijing to Xian - 19, 20, 21 Xian, Terracotta, Huashan, Luoyang - 21 morning flight Xian to Chengdu - 21, 22 Chengdu - 22 afternoon flight Chengdu to Guilin - 22, 23, 24, 25 Guilin/Yangshuo + Longji Rice Terrace - 25 afternoon train from Yangshuo to HK via Guangzhou - 25 to 28 HK What concerns me about itinerary A is the long time we will be spending connecting from Jiuzhaigou to Guilin via Chengdu first by bus then the next morning by plane. However, overall we are looking to do a half city half nature trip, this is why I am not very keen on replacing Jiuzhaigou with Chengdu, especially that we are not very interested in pandas. GUEST04154	Bombino, if I were you, I would choose the first itinerary. I don't think it's very packed. If you are not interested in Pandas, it's not neccessary to spare long time in Chengdu. Just follow the first itinerary. Have a nice trip.

Hello Bombino,

First of all, i am a Chinese. :)
See from these two Itineraries,i guess it's not replacing Jiuzhaigou with Chengdu.
It should be replace JiuZhaiGou with Huashan and Luoyang.

You can enjoy the nature beauty if you choose Itinerary A.JiuZhaiGou is just like a quiet and elegant young beauty.

You can enjoy the grandeur if you choose Itinerary B. Huashan is just like a strong muscle man to be conquered by you.

Both of them are good,it depends which one you need.

Just my opinion,hope it's helpful.
