NANCY53 Points: Join Date: Jul 8, 2005 Status: offline	I will be traveling to Beijing, Xian, Luoyang, Shenzhen and Hong Kong with The Classical Symphony Orchestra from Chicago. A major concern is trying to keep my luggage as light as possible plus have room to bring back some wonderful souvenirs. We will be staying in 3 star and above hotels but I am unsure of the amenities provided by Chinese hotels vs. US hotels. Does anyone know if these types of hotels supply hairdryers in the room and therefore, I don't have to worry about packing one? Thanks!

MERMAID Points: Join Date: Jan 7, 2005 Status: Offline	i m afraid that hairdryer is not available in 3-star hotels. Better to take it with you and the voltage in China is 220v.
