As the fair to Hongkong so cheap, probably I can start my journey from Hongkong, then go to mainland of China.(As I read from some China travel brochures, it says, Beijing, Shanghai,Xi'an and Guilin are must destination), do you guys have any other ideas about other destinations? Thanks a lot.

MERMAID Points: Join Date: Jan 7, 2005 Status: Offline	Hong Kong is the best place for Spring Festival. So is Guang Zhou. Inland cities have less and less mood for the Spring Festival. Spring in Xi'an is great and early summer and autumn... July in Shanghai is kind of suffering... October is beautiful in Beijing and it is so crowded with all those meetings and travellers.
