Hi there, I hold Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan) passport, travelling from New Zealand to Kyrgyzstan through Guaghzhou and Urumqi. Total time stopping in both cities is 30hours.
Do I need transit visa? Was there a change in China visa rules just recently ?

GUEST40882 As long as your layover in Urumqi is longer than 2 hours, you will need to get a transit visa.
