Turns out they started hosting people about a year ago. You can go horseback riding, visiting festivals and other things. 250 RMB per day, all inclusive, I think. Has one other homestay close to Xilinhot too. Was there recently. Think it's a cool initiative. They get help from travellers to get visitors there and all the money stays with them. And it's very genuine. So I really recommend it and if you have question you can contact them on Wechat!
