In Western countries, due to the religious reason, 7 is a ubiquitous lucky number which many believe that it is associated with creationism. But some numbers have been thought to be lucky, while others are considered unlucky. So, does 7 be thought as lucky in Chinese culture, too?

no, in china, 6 and 8 is the lucky number, because 6 is pronounced as liu, it means fluent and hope you smooth in the future. 顺,顺利。
and 8 is pronounced as ba, it sounds like fa, make fortune, facai 发财。so in china, 6 and 8 is the lucky number for us.

for number 7 in China, it is neither good nor bad, no special meaning. number 6 and 8 are lucky numbers. 4 is the bad number beacuse the pronounciation of 4 in Chinese is si, means death.
