Is Qionghai still great for nightlife?

GARLICANDBASIL Points: Join Date: Jul 28, 2005 Status: offline	When I visited Qionghai in Hainan six years ago it was like Pattaya in Thailand. Is it still that way?

GARLICANDBASIL Points: Join Date: Jul 28, 2005 Status: Offline	Doesn't surprise me. However when I was in Hainan before the whole town was a destination for 'men on holiday without their wives'. Much better value and selection than say Haikou Hotel's scene that livened up after 9 p.m. Has anyone actually been to Qionghai lately? If it has closed down I guess the Ameticans have spread their influence everywhere!

I'm an experienced singer and musician, and can play and sing a wide variety of music in English, Chinese and Spanish. If somebody can help me to find a place to play I'll apprecite it.
