Hi!! I am coming to Nanjing to teach english and I am looking for some travel tips. Hows the weather, safety issues etc. Any advice would be great!! Thanks alot!!

It could be very hot and humid in the summer. Don't worry about the safty. Just anywhere else, keep your belongings in sight.

As I am going to China soon, I would like to know more about weather, but I know Nanjing is extremely hot in summer. :(

The weather in winter is a bit cold and windy. But is's ok with airconditioner. It rarely snow.

Nanjing is one of the better cities in China, in my opinion. It's also in a great location, close to many famous parks/cities/mountains around the west coast.

Please beware around the train station. Somebody attempted to pickpocket me there. And it's not a great choice of a place to live. Everywhere else was fine though. Otherwise, great city.
