China visa in Hong Kong for Indian citizens

Will Indian citizens be allowed to apply for a Chinese visa in Hong Kong ?
The Chinese embassy in India has declined my application once but will try again in two weeks.
My flights and hotels are all booked .

GUEST40882 You can try to apply for the visa in Hong Kong, but it's not guaranteed that you will certainly get it. As your application in your home country has been denied, I think it may have negative effects on your next application.
