Will the visa application details (of where I'm staying) be sent to my parents?

guest16143 I'm 19 and will be applying for a tourism visa to China. I'll be staying over at someone's house during my visit. Will my parents be notified of his address or personal particulars? I would like it to be strictly confidential. At the same time I don't know if my parents will be notified. Or as long as I do not include them in my emergency contact, they won't know? Thanks in advance!

GUEST04154 As long as you won't meet with any emergency, the police won't notify your parents of the address where you stay.
