24hr direct visa in Shenzhen? - layover on the way to New Zealand

guest35237 I will have a layover in Shenzen of 3 hours on my way from Germany to New Zealand, but I am not sure if I can get there a 24 hr direct visa. Shenzen will be the the 2nd stop, Shanghai will be the first.
On the way back its jaust Shanghai

GUEST40882 I'm afraid you have to apply for a transit visa because Shenzhen doesn't grant 24-hour direct transit.

You cannot fly to Shanghai without a visa since you are connecting to another city in China. Germany to Shanghai to Hong Kong is fine.
