Myself and a friend of mine won a trip to Shanghai. We were given flight tickets by the company. We fly Copenhagen --> Shanghai, arriving on April 9th. We then have a returning flight on the same ticket, Shanghai-->Copenhagen on April 19th. We will stay in Shanghai for 5 days (i.e. less than 144 hours). We then have a flight ticket to Nagoya (Japan) on April 13th and a return flight to Shanghai on April 18th. We fly back on the first flight ticket to Copenhagen on April 19th.
I've tried to look it up and understands it as that we qualify for the 144 hour free transit visa. My question is however if the fact that we have 2 different flight tickets, 1 roundtrip fare Copenhagen to Shanghai and back and 1 roundtrip fare Shanghai to Nagoya and back, will cause any problems in immigration? Is it requiered that your whole journey (country 1 --> country 2 ---> country 3) is on the same ticket?
All help is very much appreciated.
Johan
