I am terribly aggravated. I was asked by the visa service I'm going through for a letter of employment on company letterhead, signed by HR, and indicating I'm visiting China for tourist reasons alone and I will be returning to employment afterwards.
My company is flat out refusing to give me a letter beyond one simply stating that I am employed there, because their legal team doesn't want to have the company held liable for my actions. I'm going to assume that this will be insufficient. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there any workaround?
