 | I know nothing about Guangzhou . How's the city look like? How big is it? I plan to go to there recently, I would like to know some information from someone who live there as how the big shopping mall call? Is it far from train station? For get information to book hotel,and shopping around hotel. Any suggestion? Any one reply me, thanks in advanced |

| i am Cantonese,maybe I can help you. But the questions you asked are too vague, can you be more specific? anyhow, i will give you a generally information about GuangZhou. GuangZhou is big city, I would say it is as big as New York. and if you speak English I quess you shouldn't have that many problem traveling in GuangZhou, since many good restaurants and hotels have someone able to speak English. On the street, you can find a white collar or student to ask you question, most of them knows some English. Guangzhou is a morderm city, you wouldn't have problem travel with public transportation but I guess be able to read Chinese will be a big help since most of the guide are in Chinse. good luck |

| Did you come to GZ to shop? For ultra modern Shopping Centres seek China Plaza or Teem Plaza [Tian He]. Negotiate for bargains with vendors Up Down Ninth or Beijing Lu; don't miss the near by Jade Market for jewelry and trinkets. If you know a seamstress go to the Fabric Mkt. It's fun to browse for treasure at a 'lightly used' merchandise mkt. across the road which features mobile phones and so much more! |

| Hi, were is the JADE market in the Beijing Lu? i have not found the last time i was there. Can you give me directions? and advise if how to choose authentic and fake jade? thanks |
