guestAsh Me and my husband joined Golden Destinations, Beijing tour on mid Dec 2017 , led by Yuki and WuDi ( Golden Destinations ) . The tour got 3 shopping trips , we were brought to Silk , Tea and Jade factory . The time we spent on the factory trips are longer thn some of the palace trips . A lots of hard selling methods and WuDi ( China Tour Leader ) even informed that he need to hits his sales targets , we had paid the tour fees and now we need to folk out our money to help him to hits his sales target ??? When we refused to buy he show a sour face and starts being rude during the trip .

At the jade factory, me and my husband were brought to a room and request to buy a pair of jade which cost RMB 280,000 , after we insist that we don’t want to buy . The so call manager give a 90% discount and even told her subordinate she will sign the paper on this discount . 90% !! What if we decided to buy at the beginning ? We will be con with that 90% when we search in the website we saw the same experience faced by some Taiwanese , same scenario . You can try to google in Chinese on Beijing shopping traps . We did brought some jade and was given a certificate but when we tried to rectify the number on the certificate thru the website it shown invalid .

At the tea factory , we hv brought some tea and from the conversation with a sales girl , she said that she was being asked to serve me and my husband by the China tour guide and push us to buy more . So basically we are being aim by the tour guide to hit his sales targets so he can get his incentives . All the items in those factories hv markup more thn 90% and we can’t even reject to buy if we want a happy journey in Beijing . Yuki , basically just like a shadow and followed that China guide. Terrible experience with bad and not professional and unethical guides .

Hotels and trips are different from itinerary given and later being informed wrong itinerary given during sell transactions . What else we can say .. terrible !
