does anyone know where i can find a map of streets for shanghai and not just the touristy areas?

Good street maps of most Chinese cities are available at Airports and at kiosks near stations and most places that sell papers and magazines. Ususal cost is Y5 definatlely no more than Y10. we wary of stree hawkers who may ask more and watch yourself if buying these in crowded places ie bus or train stations. These maps include Chinese, some Pinyin and a little English and will also show some of the tourist spots, parks, hotels, bus routes etc

PS unless you plan of getting bitten by a dog it's probably not worth the rabbies shots. Only heard of one case since I've been here. Highly unlikely that you would come into contact with these.

You can find it easily in boothes which usually sell newspapers and magazines ,or you can go to bookstore ,surely you will catch it .
