UK passport holder and 144hr transit visa - URGENT!!

guestMWALD	Anyone know if 2 british citizens passport holders, can obtain a 144hrs visa. We fly to Shanghai to stay 5 nights then fly out to Hong Kong for 5 nights returning to Shanghai for 1 night leaving the following morning back to UK. Can we get this 144 hrs visa when we arrive at Shanghai airport to cover us till we leave for HK? Will we need to get a new 72hr visa for the one night we stay in Shanghai before we fly home? aNY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
