How do you like the budget airlines canceling the free airline meal?

Recently, many of the Chinese budget air companies have declared to cancel the free airline meals in domestic short-haul air routes, which cause wide discussion on line. The free meals are canceled mainly in the economy class and other classes will not be affected. Many people think it’s a good idea because the free meal of the short-haul air routes is unnecessary and it tastes not so good, either. What’s more, once it is canceled, the ticket fare will be a little lower. However, some other people do not agree with that. They hold the view that it takes more money than before since they need to pay extra money for the food. As these budget Airlines don’t allow people to take their own foods and drinks, the food on planes will be much expensive. Also, some people don’t care too much and they think there is no large difference. Still others don’t care because they seldom eat on planes. In my opinion, this offers more choices for passengers while the cost of the airlines can be cut a lot, so it’s a win-win strategy. How do you like it?
