What type of Hotels to choose in Beijing?

I was looking into some Airbnb in Beijing does the places really look like the pictures? I am scared to book a place and then up on arrival will not be like the pictures. The fake taxis I don’t remember are blue or red ones? Also where can I find the best price in admission tickets for major attraction in China like Forbidden city, Great Wall, Terracota Warriors... (Shi’an). Better and cheap to travel around China by plane or the fast train?
