The subtitle translated this as "Northeast China", but my limited character knowledge tells me that's not quite accurate. Can you translate it?

GUESTRUBY The first two characters mean "early winter", the 3rd and 4th characters mean "East China", not northeast. I cannot figure out the 5th character; it's blurring.

I believe the last character is "dì" as in 地方 dìfāng (for English "place" or "location")?
