Baby Visa for China

guestSK	My wife is Macanese, she holds a Macau passport and I am British and hold a British passport with a chinese visa attached. We have recently had a baby, who holds a British passport, and going to Macau in the summer with plans to travel to mainland china. She plans to register him in Macau and get his passport and residency organised but that takes around 6 weeks. Will we need to organise a chinese visa for the baby if we want to travel into mainland china before he has his macanese residency?
