Anyone have experience bringing a *DOG* into China?

guest21850 Hi. Does anyone have experience bringing a doggie into China?

I want to know if the microchip is really necessary. Do they just look at the Chip Number on your rabies certificate, and that's enough? Or do they actually, physically SCAN it? I don't want to insert a chip into her, if it can be avoided.
