The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020 has caused a lot of damages and troubles, especially in people’s lives and economies. It also has brought a near standstill to travel and tourism. I believe that most of you had put off your travel plans in the past several months due to the lockdown for preventing coronavirus. So when will you travel after the COVID-19 pandemic?

Anyway, as the lockdown lift in some countries such as the U.S., UK, Canada, and New Zealand, some people just begin to travel again. A long time lockdown has made people tired of staying at home and they cannot wait to see the outside world, though it is still not so safe to travel during this period. For those who hate to be home birds, they may have a trip just in recent 3 months while more people may be very cautious about traveling as the confirmed cases are still rising in some states and countries. These people may begin to plan a tour after 3 to 6 months as the Covid-19 pandemic will recede then. Of course there will be someone just canceling any travel during this year. They think highly of safety and consider life matters above all. It is possible for them to go on vacation after more than half a year when there will be a rapid and widespread virus testing or a vaccine.

For me, this is still not a safe period to travel but a short-distance tour to neighboring natural reserves or national parks can be available. Some long time trips to other cities or even other countries are still with no consideration. How about you?
