A strange question

JOHNV Points: Join Date: Jun 7, 2021 Status: offline	Well we all know that cultural differences are sometimes hard to get to grips with but when you marry a Chinese you accept that there will be differences and just discuss and reach a happy medium. My question is : my wife had a hysterotomy six months ago and of course it is a pretty big operation, she was looked after in early stages, (two months) by family but now they have left and gone back to work. She has had help since and says to me she is still in 'recovery stage' so cannot be left alone in her apartment?? Being China, anything is possible but this seems a long time to me, can anyone explain please?
