China visa renewal - passport expiry date

I’m working in China. My company will renew my passport after 3 months. But by that time I will only have 1 year and 1 month before my passport expires. I guess it will be ok but perhaps there is some rule that there needs to have something like 18 months on or something. I can’t seem to find info on this one question. Does anyone know?

GUEST40882 I only heard about something about at least 6 months left on the passport, not any about the 18 months. It should not be a problem.
