Hi everyone,

I’m planning a short trip to China soon (mainly Beijing and a few nearby spots), and I’ve been thinking about documenting the journey in a more structured way instead of just collecting random photos and clips. In previous trips, I usually ended up with hundreds of short videos and no real structure afterward, which made it hard to revisit or share the experience properly. This time, I want to try something a bit more organized:

short clips for each location (landmarks, food, transport, etc.)
simple notes/timestamps while traveling
then combine everything into a clean travel story once I’m back

For editing, I’ve been experimenting with [capcut app download](https://cepcutapk.com/) because it makes it easy to quickly arrange clips, add captions, and build a simple timeline without needing heavy editing software. My main question is:

For those of you who document your trips in China (or anywhere really), how do you usually organize your footage while traveling so it doesn’t become overwhelming later?

Do you:

organize clips daily?
label everything immediately?
or just sort everything after the trip?

Also open to any tips on making travel videos feel more “story-like” instead of just a collection of random scenes.

Thanks in advance — looking forward to hearing how others handle this
