![]() | Hi, I'm plan to do a trip to China in February 2006. Im planning a 10 day tour which includes Shanghai, the Yangtze River and Beijing. Has anyone been to those places and know what they are like in February? Just curious to know if they are just as nice to visit during Winter? Any help or tips anyone can give would be great!! Thanks!! |

![]() | Are you getting the picture. It's cold all over northern China and both Shanghai and Yangtze River cruising is cold too. Jan February are the worst months and it's likely to be fogged in on the Yangtze. I just came up the gorges last week. This is summer now and it was wet with low clounds andng to the mystic of the place. Still impressive but you cannot control the weather. Spring - as in March/April/May to early summer or late Sept/Oct may be the best times to see the river. Good luck with your trip to Beijing it will be quieter and possibly fine and clear. |
