China visa in Hong kong

I am a canadian citizen but i also have a Taiwan passport. Is it true that it only takes one hour to get a chinese visa at the hong kong airport with my Taiwan passport?? How much does it cost?? or is it best to get a china visa here in canada?

I am also wondering if you can get a Chinese working Visa in Hongkong. Does anybody know if this Visa will intitle you to work in any school?
