Nowadays, China produces almost everything that somebody could buy in the Western. It’s very difficult for a Brazilian to find a different gift for a Chinese man or a Chinese woman. This is my problem: I need to choose a gift which could please my chineses hosts. Can somebody give me some suggestions? (Please, low budget – about US$ 150,00 each one)

A lady's suggest: Some made-in-France or other world-renowned cosmetics or perfume for the hostess are ok. Especially the brands that can not be bought in China. ^_^

Rita,
I will meet different type of person: members of government and their wives; and new friends I will see for the first time.
Here in Brazil we have good semi-precious stones, good leather articles; coffee; pinga (a spirit very apreciate); handcraft.
Answer me by yourself: what you would like to receive from Brazil. It will be a good sugestion.

Can you help me once more?

Answer you by myself:
I think coffee, handcrafts and pinga, which are produced only in your country, are excellent, they are unique and, I guess, not too expensive to embarrass people. I prefer handcrafts the most of them all.
Hope it helps.

Good luck, CROBERTO!

Gifts that do not have the label 'made in China'. They would appreciate anything from your country. If you know your host specific taste than it can be more specific.
